Recently, the provincial beautiful zhejiang construction leading group office announced 2023 annual 100 excellent "waste-free city cell" list, including total 123 "waste-free city cells" in 17 categories such as no waste factories, industrial parks, villages, schools, hospitals, scenic spots, hotels, stadiums, institutions, islands, oil depots, communities, townships, laboratories, gas stations, wharves, automobile 4S stores. Hangzhou Bioking Biochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. Has become the only waste-free factory in Linping District in 2023.
A "waste-free city" is an advanced urban management concept. It does not mean that no solid waste is generated, nor solid waste can be fully utilized in a resourceful manner. Rather, it refers to an urban development model that takes the new development concept as the lead, and reduces the environmental impact of solid waste to the minimum by promoting the formation of a green development mode and lifestyle, continuing to promote the reduction of solid waste at the source and the utilization of resources, and reducing the amount of landfill to the maximum extent possible.
On the road to building a "waste-free city", every "waste-free cell" is an important part. The term "waste-free city cell" makes the seemingly huge and distant goal of "waste-free" gradually dissolve into small changes within people's reach, and enter people's lives in a silent manner.
